Cable Tarp Systems, cable style tarping systems or accordion tarp systems are often referred to by the various names given by the different manufacturers; Crank-N-Go (Aero), Slide-N-Go (Cramaro), Panel Tarp (Merlot), Tarp-N-Go (Mountain Tarp), Super Slider (Pulltarps) or Top Slider (Pulltarps) Each of these systems, from an operational standpoint, function the same. That is they each utilize a series of pulleys and cables to “drive” the tarp forward to uncover the load or backward to cover the load. The drive mechanism may be manual or electric and the tarp itself can be made of a mesh, vinyl or asphalt material and is available in a variety of colors.
Cable Driven Tarp Systems are used more commonly on Dump Trailers, but are right at home on Dump Trucks as well. Common applications include; asphalt, sand, gravel, sludge, trash and construction debris. These systems can even be modified to be used in stationary applications over holding tanks or cans that require frequent access.

The Merlot Panel Tarp offers the exclusive and patented “Panel Tarp” design that virtually eliminates downtime and expensive repairs. In the event of damage to the tarp, individual “panels” can be easily and quickly removed and replaced in lieu of replacing the entire tarp. This saves hours of labor and expense. The Panel Tarp also features removable bow ends that eliminate the need for removing the cable to change panels. Simply pull out the bow end and the panel is replaced in less than 30 minutes! PullTarps Super Slider
Pulltarps single cable Super Slider design is what makes these systems unique. Having only one cable causes both sides of the bows to move evenly thereby elimination jamming. Removable UHMW sliders allow replacement of bows without removing the cable. The UHMW sliders wipe the top of the rail clean for extra smooth operation…plus they are guaranteed never to wear out! The sliders bring the tarp down over the side rails about 6” providing a nearly waterproof containment. Combine the system with the optional Rear Closer for real waterproofing capabilities!
The Super Slider can be configured in a multitude of options to meet your exact tarping application.

Crank-N-Go has a durable tarp attached to strong bows that slide along cables mounted on each side of your dump body or trailer. For extra safety, Crank-N-Go is operated from the ground or the cab.
