established in 1960, is renowned as a high quality mfg. of truck tarps and
trailer tarpaulin systems. Merlot developed and patented the "Panel Tarp"
Tarpaulin System in the 1980's. Since that time the Panel Tarp has grown in
popularity and is used on thousands of open top containers throughout the
United States.
The
Panel Tarp utilizes Merlot's patented "Panel Tarp" system.
Individual tarp panels are easily replaced virtually eliminating tarp caused
down time. Designed to fit Dump Trucks, Dump Trailers and Transfer Trailers
the Merlot Panel Tarp is right at home on any open top unit. Replaceable nylon
bow ends and heavy duty aluminum bows add to the innovative features found
on the Merlot Panel Tarp.
All
hardware for Merlot Side to Side Roll Tarp is aluminum which
makes the system lightweight, strong and durable with no rusting. Mesh or
vinyl (18oz or 22oz) material is available in several attractive colors.
The
Vango offers all the flexibility of a flatbed with the weather
tight advantage of a van trailer. Manufactured from aluminum, the Vango weighs
less than 1200 lbs on a 48' trailer. The Vango comes with the patented Panel
Tarp System. If the tarpaulin is damaged, only the damaged section of material
need be replaced, not the entire tarp. The standard Vango is 7'-3" from deck
of trailer to ceiling of tarp. However, custom sizes and designs are available.
The Vango is operated by one person at ground level-improving driver safety
and trailer versatility.
